a month agoYall... the food is DELICIOUS and Ms Carol is absolutely AMAZING!!!! She let me sample a few things and everything was so good. Her homemade juices are soooo good. I bought the Pineapple but the Sorrell was really good as well. Thank you Ms Carol for being such a joy today. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

a month agoA hidden gem. So delighted to find this hole in the wall. We had the jerk chicken (spicy) and stew chicken with white rice and chickpeas. Delicious authentic flavors. We love the little lady “Miss Carol” who helped us!

a month agoGot takeout from Ms. Carol yesterday and wow!! She’s so warm and welcoming…she gave us samples of a few dishes which were all amazing. We got the stew chicken, curry goat and oxtail with curry chickpeas, cabbage and a beef patty with her delicious garlic sauce. And don’t forget to try her homemade juices. We will definitely be back!!

2 months agoI’ve been looking for a good Caribbean spot since I moved to the valley in 2015. Hands down the best so far and they let me order Trini doubles off menu. Every single thing my friends and I had was flavorful and delicious. The owner was so nice even offered us samples. Their menu had plenty of vegetarian options for me, tender flavorful meats for my friends, and seafood. Will be back here very soon!!

5 months agoMiss Carol offers one of the greatest Caribbean dining experiences in the state of Pennsylvania. She has mastered and continue to master her culinary skills to give you the best home cooked foods from Trinidad. She offers a personal touch that brings fresh to everything she touches. I always walk out of the restaurant feeling more joy than when I walk in. Trust that she will deliver amazing dishes and drinks the way they should be enjoyed. Always a great time stopping by at this place for good food, good conversation, and good experiences. Thank you for always making my trips to your establishment feel like home!

7 months agoDon’t let the name fool you. This is soooo much more than a sandwich place! Miss Carol is an absolute gem and the food is out of this world!!! I had her jerk chicken which is much different than your typical Jamaican jerk chicken. Amazing flavor, falls off the bone and topped with her unreal garlic sauce! The meal came with rice and peas, got some beans too and cabbage I believe. It was a big meal and the price was right. The music was jamming, she was singing along and it was just great. When paying I asked her what I should get next time and she recommended the roti (which I had considered) but also the…..SHARK! She gave me a sample of it with her garlic sauce, hot sauce and some chutney as well. OUT OF THIS WORLD! I will be back for sure. Don’t miss this spot!

a year agoIf you’re looking for an authentic Caribbean experience in Allentown, it can’t get any better than here! Ms. Carol’s pleasant personality and hospitality bring the atmosphere home! We had the jerk chicken topped with her homemade garlic sauce and pickled white onions with curried cabbage & white rice. Curry goat with curry cabbage and white rice topped with gravy. The curry goat roti (with dhalpuri in the roti) and beef patty’s are home made and top notch. Everything here is from scratch. I asked what the secret to the flavors she obtains and her reply was LOVE! Every morsel is packed with flavor almost taking you to the island! I will definitely be stopping back here soon!
